Adobe Flash Player v18.0.0.209

Just updated it this morning. Just a couple days ago, we had v203 come out. Also, Shockwave is updated to: 12.1.9.159

yeah seems almost like bi daily updates for Flash due to its vulnerabilities. I would never give up on it though 🙂

The full download link at Adobe is still bringing up 18.0.0.209 for Internet Explorer, even though the web site says it should be 18.0.0.232 ... guess I will have to check that one again tomorrow. It should be the proper version by then. (Firefox version is up to date)

This is the second time Adobe has done this, fucking tards.

Download link for the IE version now appears to have the proper version number when you download it.

Well, that is weird. I manually updated the flash player NPAPI plug in to 18.0.0.232 a few days ago. But the updater from adobe notified me that i have to update. When i go to the adobe site :

https://www.adobe.com/nl/software/flash/about/

It states that i already have the most recent version of the flash plug in. Why does the adobe updater not check what version i have before bugging me that i need to update ?
Or does the adobe website lag with respect to the most current version of the flash player plug in ?

I seem to have the PPAPI flash plug in installed, version 18.0.0.209.
But i understood from the adobe forum that this plug in is a flash player plug in for chrome and i do not have chrome installed. 😕

Well, i allowed the update and the PPAPI plug in is also updated to 18.0.0.232.
I am happy with it.
What browser do you use? Seems to make a difference with NPAPI & PPAPI.

Also, I've never had Adobe updater notify me about an update even though i always check that box when i manually update it.

The updater is strange.. sometimes between major versions it prompts you instead of updating automatically even if you select it. AFAIK it is supposed to silently update itself if you select that option.
