Adobe Encore CS3

I bought Encore 2.0 off Ebay and really like it, bugs aside I think it's definitely the best DVD authoring software. Well best I've used any ways, when they announced Encore CS3 I was excited. Today I go to Adobe's web site to see when it's being released.

They're including it with the purchase of Premiere Pro CS3, but there isn't an option to buy it on it's own. Now I tried the Premiere Pro 2 demo and it was cool, but it's expensive, and I really don't need to edit video. So basically if I want Encore CS3 I have to buy Premiere Pro CS3 for $799. This is crap, Encore 2.0 wasn't exactly cheap, but $799 is waaaaay out of my league. Encore CS3 on it's own I probably would have ponied up $399 for, now I'm just mad I don't even have the option.

What about the Upgrade for around $300?

Maybe you need Premiere CS2 first though, I don't know. I was thinking it would let you upgrade whichever of that included software that you had, but I doubt they're that nice.

If you goto this upgrade advisor ("Upgrade Tool") and select that you only have Encore 2, it says that package (Premiere CS3 upgrade) is an upgrade option.
