Is there a way to seperate out just the guitar part of a song without the drums etc? If so how?

Only if the *song* you're talking to came in the form of a multi-track session. In that case, the guitar parts are probably on one track, and other instruments on their own tracks. But if it's a mixed-down two-track (stereo) song, you might be able to play with filters to reduce the drums vs. the guitar, or boost the guitar over the drums. Highlight the section of the song (or whole song) and open up the graphic equalizer filter and click Preview and start messing with the faders on various frequencies to see how close you can come.
