adobe acrobat

i am viewing a map using adobe acrobat and i zoomed in a on a specific area, but it wont allow me to save that view. When i click print, it prints the entire map, instead of the specific view. how can i print a portion of the map? or i would rather save it as a picture.

To print a portion of an image use the Graphics Select Tool it is the dotted box with a circle and sqaure shape in it. Drag the box around what you want to print, then right click in the box and select print. If you want it to fill the page then you need to select expand small images to paper size.

Lo-res: printscreen key, open Paint, paste.

That will only print out a low-res (72dpi) bitmap image. You want to print a hi-res (300dpi) postscript (curves) file. Go with SilentRunning's method. Is the right one.
