ok I made a custom form in Livecycle and saved it to PDF, I want to share it with others on my team so that they can fill it out and then save the file with a new name to their HDs so they can add to it later. All of them have adobe acrobat reader not Pro like me. Is there a way I can save the pdf so that they can add info to the form but save it also?

jediphx,

I don't use Acrobat Reader because it's too invasive for me, so I use a small, free pdf reader called Foxit. It has a tool called "typewriter" which allows you to "type" on a pdf file. It stays there if you save it that way (but can be erased later). Not intended as a form filler, but might work for what you want. This is the latest version: http://foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader_2/down_reader.htm

EDIT: I just installed the nrew version and it has a lot of new tools, pretty good for a free reader. Anyhow, the typewrite tool is undet "Tools," "Commenting tools." Hope it helps,

Noel
