Admuncher

Admuncher is now FREE ..

www.admuncher.com

Works on almost any browser and any OS down to 98

Latest version 4.94

Out of date software that most likely will not be updated to a newer version.

I walked away from a premium license several months ago and moved on to adguard.

My suspicion (note: speculation on my part) is the that the developer is trying to sell the program (or it's name) and is trying to plump up the user numbers. Not sure how well that will work given the number of people who have abandoned the program over the past year or so.

Too bad as in it's day it was a tremendous program. Now, not so much. Doesn't do https, doesn't work with IE 11 and other issues.

Thanks I been using it forever with my 3 unlimited licenses. Glad I supported him! Now sense it is free I can use it on as many pcs as I want!

Can't wait until Android Ad Muncher and Ad Muncher 5 which will be the first to come out!

Its kinda worrying he now gives it away free...... Its like he is about to fold...

As I said earlier, I think that he wants to sell the company/program and this is a way of inflating the user base.

The program is out of date (no IE 11 support, no https support) and doesn't look, at this point in time, like it's ever going to be updated. It was a great program in it's time (I own a premium license) but...

Don't trust anything from that crook! He stole our money and charged us a high premium for a software that ended development very quickly, didn't even use it for 3 months before it broke, as in, doesn't support HTTPS sites and doesn't work with IE11! He promised that v5 will fix these things which never got released for more than 2 years of false promises!

AdGuard is a way better free alternative that works on every browser!

I find adblockplus.org works great in all browsers and I've had no need to look elsewhere.

That's what I use to. It even works on my Nook HD+ with Firefox. Great program. I've actually donated a couple times because every computer in our house uses it.

ABP in Firefox and IE (although I don't really use it in IE) and uBlock[1][2] for Chrome. The latter is by the HTTPSwitchboard author and uses ABP lists (and host files) and is more efficient than ABP (cpu time and memory usage[3]) so that caveat with ABP where you have to limit the number of filters no longer really applies which can be seen in the fact it enables a few more filter lists by default.
