I'm looking at a 10/100 NIC card that uses the ADMtek AN983B chipset. Does anyone know anything about this chipset, as opposed to a RealTek chipset card? Anyone know of any comparison sites or reviews of this card? I can't seem to find anything on it aside from the manufacturer site which has some decent info. Also, their support page has a whole list of utilities for their chipsets, including an EEPROM programming utility and detailed schematics of the chipsets.. But what I need is more of a realworld comparison between a card with this chipset and a more common RealTek or other common chipset... Anyone ever use a card with this ADMtek chipset, and if so how does it function?
