Would you split Programming off from Software?

A pool has been suggested in the forum issues thread. Thought it would get more attention here. At least a lock will mean someone read it.

This is a FI thread, but unfortunately, one has already been posted there. Oh, what to do? All I can say is, the Ownership, not Admins, nor Mods determine what forums are here, or not.
