Administrator problems..

I cant win... ive got annoying problems on my computer and im trying to fix one now(My world of warcraft is not able to play, it just loops when it tries to open, if I click play, it closes it and re opens, one suggestion I got in a ticket was to delete the WTF, cache or interface folders, ive heard about these before..) So anyway here I am trying to delete the WTF folder... Says I need administrator access.... im the owner of my computer and the admin, as well as proof that im marked as the admin.. Yet when I click Ok with the little admin shield next to it, it says I need to be an admin.... Anyone know whats going on here? Heres what I do.. go to the folder location, right click on WTF folder, click delete, asks if im sure I want to delete this, I click yes. Then it says you need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder, So I click continue... Then it says Folder Access denied as the window, and in it, it says You need permission to perform this action. You require permission from administrators to make changes to this folder...

Take your entire World of Warcraft folder and move it to a location that is not in Program Files. A safe directory would be C:\Users\Public\Games. WoW writes a lot of log entries to its own folder. If it's installed in the Program Files directories, it requires administrative access every time you launch it.

Theres no games folder... and plus if I tried to move it, it would probably say something like you need administrator access to do this.

This is your computer's way of telling you that you play too much WoW. The outdoors are calling you...

On a more serious note. Try running a command prompt session as administrator and deleting it that way.

Look at the folder permissions of that folder and the parent folder and make sure you have at least r/w/x/m. Full control would be ideal.

r/w/x/m? And the parent folder which im guessing would be program files x86... Nobody can get full control apparently, and you cant change the permissions, as for the WoW folder, I do have full control... yet it still says I need admin permission.

Odd, all I did was look at who has permissions for stuff and I didnt even touch anything, and all of a sudden I can delete my WTF folder.... Ok we solved that, but WoW still doesnt work so pretty much all this was pointless...

Does it "not work" or does it ask for admin rights to run the game?

I still think this is a permissions issue. To the child objects of the WoW folder have inherent permissions?

Or I could turn off my entire security system.... could try that. But what are you saying? like if objects in the WoW folder had permission to access other objects in the WoW folder?
