Administrative Share Problems

Recently we connected ours stand alone pc's to network. We gave them an administrative share (C$) to be able to do remote backup, but if for some reason we have to boot the computer, we lost the share when restarting it. How we can do so that share stays? Our Operating System is Windows NT 4. I will thank you for any help.
