Admin Accounts in XP Pro

When XP Pro is first installed, by default it sets up an Administrator account. Then, when a second Administrator account is created, and given a name, that original admin account disappears.
Where does it go and how do I access it once again? I would prefer to cancel the second admin account and get back into that first one. Thank you.

The admin account that is set up during XP install is an emergency account. It is not supposed to be seen. You can't delete the second admin account because of the way XP is programmed.

However, you can log into the Administrator account in both safe mode, pressing Ctrl-alt-del twice on the welcome screen, or if you disable the welcome screen typing in the username "Administrator" and the password (default "") you made at setup. It can also be used to unlock a computer. It doesn't hurt to be there so long as you have a password on it.

The hidden admin account is normally used by tech support personnel.

It's a battle you would be better to just forget about 🙂
