Adjusting two mice's sensitivity

Hello everybody,

This forum is helpful beyond control, so I'm gonna go all out and try throwing an oddball into the mix. Here goes:

I've got two mice, one Logitech MX500 optical, and one *gasp* Saitek GM2 joystick/mouse combo type thing. (Hey, it's got a 4-way hat switch on it. A mouse with a hat switch! How cool is that?) And I have the mx500 all configured good, as sensitive as I want it... however, I would like to be able to adjust the sensitivity of the second mouse as well... actually turn it down. I want to use that as my "sniper" mouse, to grab when I have my scope out and my normal mouse moves too fast to get a good head shot off. But, it seems as though moving that slider around only effects my main Logitech mouse. Gah! I don't suppose there are any tricks of the trade to do one individually?

While i'm on the subject, I used to have a Razer Boomslang, with on-the-fly sensitivity adjustment. My new mouse doesn't do that anymore. Is there a way I can program a hotkey or something to hit to change the sensitivity? That worked really slick, and I haven't been able to find anything that worked that way since I laid that one to rest. It would be the best if the volume wheel on my keyboard could do it... but now I know i'm dreaming.

Well, that's my bacon this time 'round, anyway.

Thanks in advance for any help and/or rants & raves.

Are you using Logitech's drivers? While they aren't perfect, I was able to adjust my mx500 and the trackpad on my laptop separately.
