I'm thinking about picking one of these up and want to know, can you just set it and go or do you have to keep opening the psu and tweaking it untill you get the exact voltage you need? Also is this thing loud? I've been spoiled by the 2 psu's I have now both of them use a 120mm fan sitting over the cpu that is damn near silent.

YOU DO NOT TOUCH THE POTS WITHOUT A DMM (DIGITAL MULTIMETER) FOR ACCURATE MEASUREMENTS!!!
******************
The hardware monitor software is notoriously inaccurate and usually on the low side. Your PSU should be pre set to well within normal tolerances.

Once again: NO DMM - NO TOUCHY POTS!

Thanks for your concern and I should have clarified why I wanted to adjust them. I'm using a DFI lanparty nf3 250gb mobo and the only way to supply more than 3.2V to my ram is by increasing the 3.3V rail.

I adjusted them by the voltage readings in the bios, do you think its off by an unsafe margin? I don't have a DMM to check.

Like I said, the software monitor isn't accurate - no way to know without a meter. Default value for DDR RAM is 2.6V. I wouldn't even try higher than 3.0V personally.

I'm using some Twinmos UTT and this stuff loves voltage. I borrowed a Fluke 7-300 tester and I want to see exactly how much voltage I'm getting to the ram.

I have never used one, is it as simple as sticking the red probe into the ram slot to get the Vdimm reading? What about the black probe? Not to worry, I don't plan on using it untill I get a good qualified answer.

Doesn't your users manual explain the pot adjustment? If you don't have one, I'm sure their website has one you could download...

No manual but adjusting the pots went just fine. I'm just going off of what Zepper and others have said about the onboard monitoring not being very accurate and thats what I want is very accurate setting.

Edit: I got it pin7 on the Vdimm slot
