I built a system using the asus a8v motherboard...a 3500+ winchester cpu...powered by an antec 350watt smartpower power supply. I wanted to do a little overclocking but I am having trouble adjusting the core voltage. Any setting I use from 1.45v to 1.55v registers as 1.45v after saving my settings. I have to use 1.575v to overclock to 220mhz FSB which runs a little hot and is definitely more juice than I need. Has anyone else had this problem? And does anyone know what could be wrong? The motherboard? The power supply?
