Okay I see these places selling fans that are adjustable? I assume there is no difference between say any ole case fan and one being sold as adjustable. Other then the fact that the fan comes with a little dial to increase and decrease the voltage? So for example if I use a 80mm Vantec Stealth and connect it to an enermax rheobus I should still be able to adjust the speed correct?

A: They're adjustable.

Seriously, it's just what you think. The fan comes with a switch/potentiometer to control the voltage. Just leave it set to max and then hook the fan up normally to your rheobus if you want to control it from there... but then again, if you have a rheobus, you probably don't need an adjustable fan!

If you hook up a Vantec Stealth to a rheobus, the maximum speed will be whatever the fan is rated at and you can turn it down from there but not up.
