adjust case fan speed?

I have a 120mm fan which i would love to put in the front on my case, but running at 12v its louder then heck (well it is a 55cfm fan soo). Is there any way to change it to maybe 50% so its quieter?

Its got the 3 prong power (that plugs into the motherboard)

did your fan come with a little switch that can change the speed of the fan to low,medium, high? If not, than your best bet would be speedfan
