Adjust bass in OSX?

Ns1

No Lifer
So, unbelievably enough, 1. the speakers I have do not have bass controls and 2. these tiny ass speakers are so freaking loud that the bass makes my entire apartment vibrate.

I actually can't listen to anything with too much bass. Hell I could BARELY watch inception because there was so much fucking bass. Moving the speakers around don't do ENOUGH. Is there a freeware program or ANYTHING that can help me here?

Well, you can fiddle with the Equalizer in the program in question.

Or, you can get Hear for OS X. They include a trial so you can see if that will take care of it before actually buying it.

DVD Player? Pandora in Safari?

I'll take a look at Hear, thanks.

I think that DVD Player has an Equalizer, but my hack is being a pain right now, so I am not in OS X to check.
