ADI Monitor going weird

Hi all,

I've got a 17" ADI 5G monitor that I've been using constantly for about five years now, never let me down, really good monitor. However, in the last few months, I've noticed that the brightness seems to be going, it's flickering rapidly between noticeably bright and normal, and stops after about five minutes.

I've checked all the cable etc, the second monitor (17" Sun) doesn't do this.

Anyone think that it's on the way out? Maybe I should look at replacing it?

It's not hugely annoying but really noticeable...

I bought the same monitor refurb 5 years ago, and it's always been dim... i guess it's the nature of the beast...

but dang, 1600 x 1200 @ 85hz is pretty good for a 17"!

Is that all you've had out of it?
With the correct .inf file, you can drive it at 1920 x 1440. Seriously, it's as small as sh!t but it works, and at 60Hz too lol.

Kick-ass monitors.... and it's not doing it again now. Sigh.
