Will the follow power supply:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817139028

be adequate to supply my system?

Specs:

i7 4770(non k)
GTX Titan single
Asus Z87 mobo ($148 budget model)
onboard sound
128 gig Samsung 830 boot disk
750 gig wd black 32 meg cache
only extras I'll hook up are game controllers, mice, and the occasional use of a usb stick.

I think the answer is yes just doing the math in my head; but, I wanted to consult the far more knowledgeable members here before I do anything rash.

Thanks,

P:hmm:

P.S the reason I chose this forum to post in was because the Titan is my primary area of concern power wise.
Thanks

Oh yes I know that their are much better options. But my impatience is getting the better of me. That is the very best one I can get locally. I'm well aware of its limitations and that it is not modular. I just want to know if it will run the system with adequate power and not put any components at risk.

600W is more than enough to cope with the relatively high power consumption of a Titan and a Haswell CPU. My math agrees with yours, its got a reasonable amount of over specification such your not running it above 80% of load even at full usage and at the same time you haven't got too much spare and hence are going to get poor efficiency at idle. Its just about the right size.

Thank you,

I'll probably kick myself when I see the mess in my little Antec 300. But, if the darn thing will work, full speed ahead and darn the torpedos.
