Them little pills, though, they're the bees' knees. Just don't let them give you the generic ones. Synthroid is lab-created and held to precise tolerance. Generic levrothyroxin is made from animal thyroids and allowed to vary plus/minus 20%.

Of course they put me on the generic! But...they pay for the Opdivo that is keeping me alive. I will just have to wait and see how well the generic works for me.

Well, you have to pick your battles I suppose and Opdivo mo' debinitely beats Synthroid. Symptoms of low thyroid hormone are lack of energy and weight gain. Symptoms of high thyroid hormone are headaches, jitteryness, and leg pains/spasms.
 
Folks, Red wants you all to know that Jean's birthday is coming up on January 18th. Both Mike and Jean gave a lot of their lives to this forum. Mike was the very first mod that Harvey chose for the mod squad, and Jean was, by far, the prettiest. 😉

I just want to thank all of you for thinking about me. In true geekbabe fashion I am now recovering from an infected cyst that required lancing & wound packing. As Gilda Radner said " there's always something"

I got a Fed Ex delivery yesterday containing a " Big Ass" birthday card! I haven't laughed so hard in months! We will take pics of the elephant rump on Monday to share! Seriously, I cracked up! Thank you Duroc! The card is so big we could hang it on a wall lol!
 
I had a CT scan on Tuesday, visit with Onc today, I have scan anxiety big time, hopefully getting tx number 19 today.
