Just got a letter in the mail saying Adelphia has increased bandwidth to 6mb/768 from 3mb/256.

Of course, i'm still paying $60/month so it's not really "free".

Yeah i can't wait until the FIOS Fiber guys come in here and talk about their 30mb down pipes...

I wish i had a choice to go with another ISP. Adelphia blows.

I am also a proud Adelphia subscriber, they are the most corrupt telecommunications company left.

Haha ME TOO! took me a year to figure it out though...

I checked my speeds and upload is up to ~600 but download is still capped at 3mb. Maybe in a few days

For $55 a month you can get the same from Comcast. I'm actually only paying $15 a month for a trial period and it's sahweet!

Wow, that would explain why i had to reboot my modem this morning. Didnt even know about it till i read this. I never read their news letter or anything from them  Here is my dslreport test, dslreports

pls note that this was done on a 802.11b, so the download was limited due to crap wifi. btw, i pay 26bucks per month:p gotta love employee accts. 10bucks for net axx, and another 16bucks for preimer package. but still, i would pay 50/month for fios with 2mb upload:cool:

You are aware in any given area you only have one cable provider right? You make it sound like you can just switch to Comcast if they aren't in your town. Do you think you could switch to Adelphia if they had a better deal?
