Addtronics Vs Antec

I am looking at two cases, Addtronics 6896A and the Antec SOHO 1040. Which is better in terms of cost and stock cooling.

Does it matter that the Antec doesn't have a slide out motherboard tray?

Not really. The antec is very roomy and you don't need a slide out tray IMO.

I think the Addtronic's 6896A uses much larger fans than the SX-1040 ...........
The front plastic bezel must be removed before opening the side panels on the 6896A (but, it's much easier to remove than the Antec bezel) ..... and the panels swing open from the front .............. no big deal, just different.

Both are great cases in my experience. They are quite similar with the Addtronics having the slide-out MB try as mentioned as a difference. I do think the Addtronics offers a bit more cooling addvantages and I like the drive rails a bit better on the Addtronics. As for the Antec, very nice case that is easy to mod if you go that route. I think that i will eventually get into moding but it is my first computer that i am builiding and just want a case that i can use the stock cooling and not have to cut fan hole for a while.
