This is the same one at Amazon that was sold out a couple weeks ago. I checked it last night and it said there was only 1 left, order soon. I did, and it then said Sold Out. This morning, it is back again, saying there is only 1 more left. Might want to keep checking this one to see if they let more and more out.

Addtron AWU-120 11 Mbps Wireless USB Network Adapter

Also qualifies for Free Shipping.

Got one! Missed it the last time, so had to settle for the ~$20 price (with a $5 off code, AR). Still a good deal. Thanks! :)

Anyone have the windows XP driver for this? When I try to install the included driver it gives me an error. The xp driver on their site is down, and has been for a while.

I've got this working under XP on my Toshiba Notebook. I recall using Windows 2000 Drivers. You might need to install the client software to have full control of the adapter.

Can someone point me to the rebate form? I got my adapter this week, but Amazon no longer has any mention of the rebate. I really hate becoming a senior member with such a lame post, but if you can help me I would appreciate it.
Edit: Doh, guess not yet. They must know it was a lame post. :)

this thing stinks for WinME, it freezes mouse movements for 2-3 seconds about once every 30 seconds. I replaced it with a d-link and everything works fine!

Amazon - 07/2002 - Addtron AWU-120 Wireless USB Network Adapter

In case anyone is waiting for a rebate on the Amazon deal, you might not want to hold your breath.
I called rebatestatus today and they said they had "forwarded" that rebate to another company directwebresouce.com
Not looking good :-(

Anyone having trouble getting this to work... this is what I did.

I bought this long ago and have since lost the CD and I had to install this on a Win2k machine. The drivers on their website are crap and didn't work. So I found that the Netgear USB adapter is the same device (you can look on Netgear's site and clearly see they are the same).

Two options I did, both worked. Install the Win2k drivers from Addtron's site then copy over the *.sys from Netgear's driver package into the system32 directory.

For the XP drivers (since Addtron has none)... use Netgear's XP driver... you'll have to hack their inf file to contain the USB vendor and device ID of the Addtron device. You can get this by looking at the Addtron's Win2k driver inf file... cutting a pasting that number into the Netgear's inf file.

After I did this I was able to use Netgears drivers on the Addtron and it's working perfectly now.
