Additional Modular Battery

memo

On dell's website it has a option of adding a modular bettery.

48WHr Additional Modular Battery for Dual Battery Support [add $99 or $3/month1]

does this mean you would have the 53 WHr battery and the 48 WHr battery working together at the same time? if so would you have to swap out the optical drive then? it seemed a little ambigious online.

Yep....The modular battery replaces the optical drive....The modular battery drains 1st.....Then the main battery drains....Great if ya maybe wanna watch a DVD later.

With both batteries in my 600m I get close to 8hrs of mobile surfing 🙂 <----Very handy when I'm chasing my 3yr old around the house

Edit: You can pick them up on eGay for cheaper 🙂

I got a modular bay battery on ebay for 45+5shipping. It's not like 600m is THAT old, so worst case you get an used battery that's an year old (which should still have at least 70-80% of its life life).
