Additional Airflow/position fan questions

Hi All,

I didn't want to hijack Atomicguy's thread, but I could use some advice. I am using Asus Probe from my Asus A7N266-VM w/ a 2200 + athlon. My readings from idle and usage do not really vary too much (maybe I'm not a hardcore gamer?). I get a steady 42 C for Cpu and 26 C for MB.

The only two fan's that I have are both exhaust one on top and one facing the MB on the side. Don't I want to get an intake in there somewhere? How should I configure? I was thinking of turning the side exhaust around to intake right on the MB and then adding another exhaust in the back. So I would have the mobo cool and then the hot air would bounce off and exhaust through the top and back. . . Is there any method to my madness here? Thanks for any help.

Bumplestilskin. No opinions here? Come on, there's certainly alot of hot air flowing around these forums at times. . . . let's help me keep it out of my computer, heh heh.

Generally you want to intake air from the front and/or side of the case. Hot air is usually vented out the rear and sometimes the top of the case. Play around with fans to see which method works the best for you. Each case has different qualities and cooling can vary greatly. Your temps look great already btw!
