adding wireless to an existing cabled network

I'm sharing my inet connection by way of a 24-port switch. What I'd like to do is add a wireless device to one of the ports to make the inet connection available wirelessly (for a couple of laptops). Is there a device like that that will do what I'm looking for?

just get a cheap wireless access point....it should do what you need...

That's what I wanted to do but couldn't find any cheap access point. I just ended up getting a Belkin 54g wireless router for $10 AR. It even has an option to act only as an Access point.

Its just too bad that I can't see any computers on the old wired network from a laptop connected to the new wireless network. I'll figure it out somehow.

It is nice that the Belkin can work as an Access Point, it still need to be configured to match your "Old" Network.
