Adding vendors to the vendor rating system?

It seems like there are new vendors added to the parts business each day. Is there a process for adding vendors to the rating system. Often these new (or old) vendors are showing up in pricewatch with the lowest price and there is no info in the Anandtech rating system. For example, Advanced PcBoost and Target USA inc., have had lowest prices on items and I have chosen to purchase from them. One vendor was good, the other horrible. I'd like to share those experiences with my fellow members.

Also, is the Ananatech Realtime Priceing real? Is a good price for an AMD 2200 really $138.00? Why can I buy it at dozens of other vendors for less than half that price?

Just some questions, looking for some answers....

Go to the Vendor rating page here, click on "Rate Vendor" and go from there.

Gravity,

Yes the prices are realtime. I think that you are looking at the Athlon MP 2200, as our engine displays the 2200+ at $56. If you have more merchants you would like to see added to our pricing, send me an email (kkubicki@anandtech.com). We rely heavily on user input and only list resellers with very favorable feedback.

Cheers,

Kristopher
