Adding users in Win2k...

I'm leaving for university today and I'm leaving my computer behind (because its the router for the net connection).

Anyway, I'm trying to setup an account on my system for my sister to use, so she can download mp3's, burn cd's, chat on icq, etc, yet not modify the system (because its gotta stay running for the other computers)

I've got the account setup, but i cant get it to allow her to write files to the drive (yet not change system settings, or access administrative tools, etc)

Should I just set her up as a power user, and hope she doesnt fsck anything up?

Try logging in as the admin, going through My Computer, right-clicking the files/folders that you want her full-access to and going through security settings. That should give her some space to move.

A word to the wise: you can't just go down through the C drive, to the exact folder you want her to use and give her access to it... you've got to give her access to each and every folder in the path to that folder. Does that make sense to you?
