adding tablet to existing verizon acct

I am looking at getting a tablet w/ 3g or 4g connectivity on the verizon network. My wife was grandfathered into her unlimited plan w/ verizion, so my dream idea is to get a tablet/ipad w/ vzw and add it to my wifes plan and have unlimited data for $30 odd dollars. Has anyone tried to see if this will work or should I just go to vzw store and ask/beg?

Won't happen. Sure the tablets get a different plan (well, call it a different 'line' and this makes more sense why not). It could go on her account but only phones going onto her line will get unlimited data. At the very least they should have the double data promo though for 4G devices I think.

edit: wtf...I need more sleep...I have a future in Engrish instruction based on the above.

I tried to convert one of my existing unlimited lines to an unlimited tablet plan. They wouldn't even do that.... Either way your best bet is to head over to the local store and ask assuming the double data plan is good on tablets too a $50 plan would get you 10GB/month.
