Adding slave HD - simple help please.

Greets peeps

I am waiting on a 13gig 7200rpm drive to come to be used as a slave drive.
Gateway 1.1 gighz
512 ram etc.etc.etc.

Can any of you cool cats give me a break down of how to install this? I dont think the HD came with mounting hardware.

Do I need to go buy splitters and so forth?

I find it helpful to me to put my jumpers on the hard drive to cable select instead of master-slave mode. stopping any confusion.
