Adding second drive to Linux

Hello. I installed a second drive in my Linux box and would like to fdisk and mount it. The problem is that I dont know how.

What file system is best to use. This drive is a 80gb WD with 8mb cache. I would like to use it to store mp3s and movies on as a server to the other PCs on the network.

That covers how to partition and mount new partitions under linux. Just change hda to whatever your other hard drive is (usually hdb if it's the slave on channel 1)
