Adding RT-N66U as access point

My main router/modem is supplied by AT&T Uverse. I'm adding the RT-N66U to the network to get a better and stronger signal to all of my wireless units. I need setup instructions to add the RT-N66U as an access point. The Quick Start Guide only tells me how to install it as the main unit. I am not totally green with computers, but my knowledge of networking is slim to none. Please supply setup instructions in detail if possible.
