hi, i have a laptop that i hookup on my 21" monitor.
the optimal resolution i found on this monitor is 1360x1024 85hz
unfortunetly my built in intel video card on the laptop supports 1024x768, then 1280x1024 which i dont like, and so im forced to use this awkward res that it does support - 1400x1050.

i know im being picky, but i would perfer 1360x1024, 1280x960, and id also like the option for 1152x864.

any ideas how i can add resolutions without it being built in the drivers?
i know i can do it with my ati on my desktop (add any res i want), and power strip does it, but i just want to simply add this res, maybe in registry or something.

thanks for all the help

with ATI you might wanna try MultiRes which is an app that comes with omegadrivers Link I am not sure if it works on Nv/Intel GPU too.
