Was a dream. I just unscrewed 5 screws off of the back, slid the casing down or towards me, and then popped the memory in the slot. Put the casing back on, fired it up, and boom. Works like a champ. I cannot believe they finally got it that the casing doesnt have to remain a full screwed body to the components inside.

Someone got a clue!

so it's single channel or are you just running it asymmetrically? the opposite channel should have a DIMM under the keyboard too.

I have two sticks in it now, the two are identical. I do not know if they are in dual, as I havent done much homework on that yet on this notebook. I guess I could look at it a little further to check it out. I have two dimms in it is all I know...
