adding icons in your quick launch?

I am so mad right now.... I had everything just set up perfect...

I come back home from school and caught something weird... no icons in the quick launch... i had like 10+ shortcuts to programs and not one is there... suspecting its either my dad or sister... They really need their own computers.. sorry for the rambling but how do i place icons there again? i tried dragging them but no hope.

Right click & drag, put the black line where you want the icon, release the mouse button, & choose copy here.

Sounds like a loose nut in front of the computer.

Might want to unplug the computer and take it back.

dont work.... try taking all of your icons outta the quick launch...



That line right next to the start button wont move at all.. i tried right clicking and dragging it in but it wont accept the icon...

Just place all the shortcuts into:
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
(assuming Winblows is installed in c:\windows)

Right click on the taskbar, then go to toolbar, and make sure quick launch is checked. If that doesn't help, make a new one, put all your shortcuts into it, and then move it to the taskbar.

also take a screen shot of the system, then hide every thing and post the screen shot as a background, just to annoy

If you have to share a computer, why not setup multiple logins?
