Adding HD to System

I have a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R mobo and have 5 internal HD's, 1 HD is currently my XP OS, another drive is my photoshop scratch disk, and the last three are setup as a 3 drive Raid 5 system. Plus I do have one e-sata drive used for backups.

What I am wanting to do is to install another HD to install Windows 7 and all of the programs so I can have a dual boot system for now. What I am not sure is should I install the new HD outside the Raid system (all 5 current drives are part of the raid system, 2 are non raid drives 3 are raid drives) or should I put it into the Raid control.

I have 6 ports that are controlled by the Intel Raid system and two that are now setup as sata/ide ports. Not sure if I plug another drive into the Intel Raid ports what it will do to the current drives, will it try to incorporate it into the 3 drive raid system or just as a non-raid drive like the other two drives.

Any thoughts?

Jimmy
