I wanted to add another HD for video storage but don't want it to boot as drive D: . I have remedied this before by partitioning it as one extended partition, but when I try using FDISK with a Win98 boot disk it give me some error message like "Unable to create extended partition without a primary DOS partition" or something like that. Can someone walk me through the steps to do this again pretty please?

you can always create a primary partition of about 10mb and an extended partition of remaining size and then don't format the primary partition.
