Adding front-side USB on a budget?

I need recommendations on how to add front-side USB to my case on the cheap. I know that there are various 3.5" drive bay addons but the ones I have found are all too expensive. I'd be happy to dremel out part of my case -- most likely the 3.5" drive bay blank -- but where can I get the bits to glue/snap on?

Here's one that's around $20. shipped: TCWO. You'll need to check with them as to what kind of connectors it has and whether or not it is USB 2.x (connectors are the same but the cable must be shielded for 2.x).
Otherwise, you can get just a cable from http://www.frontx.com .

Well, this is one of the cheaper ones I could find. Dont know much about it, about 12 bucks shipped and has 2 usb 2.0 and a firewire.

However, another idea is if you dont already have a fan controller is get a fan controller that has a usb slots on it.
