Adding Fans

Whats the best way to add fans? Cut a hole in the case and attach one, use a 5.25 bay fan, pci slot fan, ect. Please give me some ideas, my cpu is burning up as we speak.

If you CPU is burning up, the first thing I would personally do is change the CPU h/s and fan to a model that's more efficient. Hope this helps.

Haven't had much success with the 5.25 bay fans (aka HDD coolers) - if you can, best method is to install 2 fans (front bezel intake and rear panel exhaust). If that's not an option, you can make a cutout in a side panel - check out how Alienware does it.

open up side of case and put a box fan blowing on the heatsink. meanwhile get a better heatsink............then add a fan up front if possible and one in back of case. might consider a fan on the case door blowing to the heatsink
