I have ~18GB of music, and I want to add it in foobar2000 (which currently has nothing in it). My music is neatly organised like this: http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/8746/music9nc.jpg

Inside the folders are simply the tracks from each album - nothing else. They are either in mp3 or aac format.

I want to simply add all my music as is - with playlists for each album. What is the easiest way to do this? I don't want to have to writeout the name of every single album each time I add an album. Thanks.

The easiest way that I know of is to set up the album list component of Columns UI. Then you go to Foobar2000 -----> Preferences ------> Database, enable the database and point the Restrict directories to the highest folder of your music collection. Save and exit. Restart and go to database again and press the scan button. If you did it correctly Foobar should recognize all the songs and show them in the Album List panel.

Hopefully that made sense
