Hi,

We've got a T1 router installed, and a firewall of course. We also have a Cable/DSL Wireless Router with 4 ports I'd like to stick behind the firewall so that wireless clients can access the company network. Is this possible? How could I configure something like that?

Thanks!

it should have an over-ride to just be an Access point. that's all you would need.

ah ha ! cross-over cable, that's what i was missing. i couldn't get the darn thing to work, had the ip's configured right but it wouldn't ping out of the router .. i was just using a regular patch cable.

thanks guys!! excellent.

any idea why it's a cross-over instead of a regular?

you could just plug one of the 4 ports into the network, and configure wireless, then it's just like an access point.

EDIT: One of the 4 normal switch ports, do no use the internet port (you can, but setup is harder...)
