Adding a sub to 2.0 monitor setup?

Going to be buying some M-audio monitor speakers for my pc. I have a powered subwoofer from my old Sony 5.1 system. How would I connect the subwoofer to the monitors to make it a 2.1 system? I will be using SB Audigy 2 platinum with these speakers.

I would suggested insulated wires with the appropriate connectors on each end.

just hook the sub up to your sub out on your card and the monitors up to the left and right channels. very simple. it will be live level, you will probably need to get a 1/8 to rca converter cable. www.monoprice.com will have any adapter you need.

Thanks, that?s what I thought. I was use to using 2.1 pc speakers were everything is controlled at the sub, and I wasn?t sure if there was anything weird I had to do to set this up.
