adding a second hsf to slotted cpus

is it a good idea to add another hsf to the other side of a slot/secc cpu

i have a p3 700@933 slot1 with a vantec dual fan hsf. i was planning to "attach" a hsf to the other side.

if so then how would i attach it.

I have a smallish case. there is a lot of heat build up in the pocket between the cpu, powersupply and the connectors.

Not a good Idea, there isnt anything back there that needs cooled. A good quality HSF would be your best bet in keeping Ur P3 cool

No...reason...like SpeedTester said. But u could consider buying those 2 fan HSF (stock HSF is 1 fan).
