Adding a search box to IIS hosted intranet site

I've created an intranet site on my Windows 7 workstation at work for my colleagues to use as a reference. Based on my understanding the indexing service on my box indexes the site. How do I create a search box on the intranet site so that users can just search for what they're looking for? Right now, site articles are sorted by the date they were written, which doesn't work very well in terms of usability.

I'd like to think of myself as a resourceful person but Google doesn't seem to have any good information on the subject. If anyone here can help, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you.
