Adding a NIC to my Linux box?

I am wanting to set up my Linux box as my router and I can't seem to figure out how to add the NIC to my Linux installation. I am trying to install an Intel ISA nic into Mandrake 8.0.

The problem is that the NIC is showing up but not under the Network Cards. It is showing up in the "? Bridge" section....

Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?
