Addidng additional memory

I currently have a box in my possession that has CORSAIR DOMINATOR 2GB (2 x 1GB)SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Memory (5-5-5-15 2.10V XMS850 v1.2 07040085). I want to add CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB)SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Memory (5-5-5-15 2.10V ver1.1 08461030). Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD34 mobo.

Running Win7. I assume that adding the memory will work without a problem, but will lose the dual channel for the mismatching sticks. Opinions?

You won't see any difference losing dual channel unless you are benchmarking.
