I have a Dell 620 PC w/Win7 Home Premium 64 bit.
I had HD4000 on board graphics outputting to an LCD monitor via HDMI to an Audio / Video Receiver (AVR) - Denon 2809ci
Everything worked fine.
I added an NVidia GeForce 640 graphics card and connected a VGA monitor to it, and the HDMI to the LCD via the AVR.
The VGA works (though picture is shifted to the left, and partially cut off), but the HDMI gets nothing, shows as no signal.
(a) If I connect the HDMI directly to an LCD monitor - works fine
(b) If I connect the HDMI to the HD4000 (as originally set up) works fine - even with the GeForce card in there.
Any ideas?
I looked in the system BIOS and the only setting that I can see remotely related is an option to set only one video source instad of allowing 2 - I tried that and still nothing
thx
