OP: When you say "opportunity," did you mean for free or REALLY cheap? Or did you just mean standard buy it at normal price? I ask because it could easily be a "why not?" for the former but not worth it for the latter. Also, depending on your usage (do you just game or do other stuff?) you might find benefit in dropping the 980 for something comparable and much cheaper but using the extra along with what you wanted to pay for more ram to go all SSD and lose the spindle. Just a thought...
 
No they screwed up the shipping and there was a possibility I was going to get two sets of RAM. I was debating if it happened to try to talk amazon into letting me keep both but the 1st set never showed, so its a moot point anyway.
