I just upgrade my system to:

Athlon64 3200+
512 MB Mushkin pc3200
2x 60 GB WD 7200 RPM ATA100
Radeon 9800 Pro
Sound Blaster Audigy

I installed windows again the new processor and 512MB in. I am now trying to stick in my other 512MB stick of mushkin but windows wont boot. Anyone know what could be causing this? THanks in advance.
I just installed everything again so plz dont tell me i need to reinstall again...

what real cpu is it ? A 2500+ OC'ed to 3200+ ? What speed memory ? When using more than one stick, quite often you have to turn down the overclock. I had to go from 218 to 213

It will post and it recognizes 1GB of ram but it just wont boot windows
The comp just restarts. Its a real athlon64 3200. The memory id DDR400 with 2-2-2 timings. Its the muskin pc3200 special

OOPS, I missed that. Yes, try 2-3-3-6 and see if that helps. If not, try raising the voltage one notch (I think it defualts to 2.6, so choose 2.7)

Edit: This is why I recommended to everyone that asked to get PC3500 CAS2, mine runs at 2-3-3-6 at 213 right now. Used to be 218 with one stick.
