Added a new Flashlight to my collection, what is your favorite?

I did get one of these with another on order. They are really handy. I try to buy intrinsically safe models because the manufacturers have to put some effort into quality control in order to keep their certs.

About $20 if you shop my EDC Olight i3s. AAA sized, 5 mode twisty for easy one hand operation, and its 80 lumens on a NiCad, more on a 10440 lithium. Normal, bright, firefly, fast cycle twice to strobe.

$5 SK68 clone off ebay is what I have in all tool bags and chests.

Here's my cheap Chinese knock off for under $20. It uses 3 Cree LEDs. It probably isn't 3800 lumens, but it is blindly bright.

Doesn't come with batteries though and you will need 18650 rechargeable lithiums. Don't cheap out on these. The batteries and the chargers will probably end up costing more than the flashlight, but they're worth it.

Although, sheesh, you kinda would think that for $1760, they could toss in the $4 shipping without digging too deep into their profits, wouldn't you? But then maybe it's an intentional "statement", ie, "yes, don't even bother asking, this flashlight really is worth every last penny.()"

Old post, but i need to share my experience on tk 75.
Fenix is good because it is much cheaper than other brand. But i don't like TK75 ..It's look like very old model and so big than my expectation.
I purchased it and from my experience i will say just avoid this model. It was damaged within 6 month.

Now, I am using ThruNite MINI TN30 which have 3000 lumens power( although tk75 have 4000 lumens). But I am happy with thrunite flashlight.

That's less than what my Surefire X400 Ultra Green depreciated since I bought it. I got it when it came out for about $800 and now I see it sells for just $500. :'(

It's a well built light though.

I bought an LED light bulb for the six cell Maglight. That's all I need. And the best part is, I have old ass crappy D-cells in that thing and the light is as bright as ever! LOL

I also have a flood light in case I need to light up the backyard or something.

I was thinking the other day I need a 2900 lumen flashlight for my general use, go-to, light.

Seriously tho, I have a 1000 lumen headlight (2x18650) and I use it a fraction of the time over my 300 lumen headlight, which is plenty bright for 95% of my uses while using less juice.

That's not to say I wouldn't love to have a 3k-4k lumen light even if I would rarely use it.

/EDIT: What reasonably priced 18650's do you guys buy, any preferences?

Oooo.. Never seen this brand before. Looks good. Will have to check out their product line.

Think I might go pick up another D-battery Maglite soon. I was out late and alone on a trail a few weeks back and started wondering where my club was...

OP's light: 4000 lumens. That's one way to blind people/yourself.

I have hundreds of Eneloops around, so I prefer AA/AAA cell lights.
